Background:
South Africa is a politically stable country with an excellent infrastructure and a country which offers a diversity of countryside, activities and experiences. We arrange transfers from the airport to the Waterberg, bypassing the major cities. The Waterberg is situated in South Africa’s, Limpopo Province, it is a low populated area which is malaria free.

Accommodation:
Our lodges offer comfortable accommodation and excellent cuisine - special dietary requirements will be catered for as far as possible with prior notification. Daily laundry service is available. Fully equipped medical kits are carried in the vehicles and at the lodges.

Getting there:
We can arrange transfers to and from the airport and can assist you with any formalities.

Travel Documents:
South Africa requires a valid passport and entry visas (not from the USA, UK or Germany).

Recommended length of stay and hunting season
7 – 14 days
The best time to hunt in South Africa is from April to the end of October, however, hunts can also be conducted during the rest of the year.

Medical:
The Waterberg is Malaria free and we have some very good local doctors. You will need to ensure your tetanus injections are up to date. Tick bite fever can be contracted from the pepper ticks in the summer months, but is easily treatable – please consult us for symptoms. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT ANYONE VISITING US HAS FULL TRAVEL AND MEDICAL INSURANCE. Guests will be required to sign an indemnity before going out on hunting safaris or any other activities.

Currency:
We accept all major currencies (USD, GBP and Euros) If using USD, please make sure you bring new notes. We cannot accept Euros in higher denomination that Euro 100. We accept all forms of travelers cheques as well as Visa and Master credit card (not debit cards), however an additional 5% is charged on these.

Electricity:
Whilst staying in our luxury lodges electricity is available, we have large round pin plugs with AC 220V voltage. Plugs vary from country to country, so do try and travel with a set of adapters to ensure your ability to charge and use your appliances on Safari. Our rustic tented camp does not have electricity, if staying here we recommend that you bring additional batteries. A generator is available for charging appliances.

What’s Included:
Accommodation on a full board basis, all beverages, laundry and all hunting related activities, Professional hunter and tracker, skinning and salting of trophies and arranging for trophies to reach our preferred taxidermist.

Not included:
Gratuities, curio shop purchases and road transfers to and from the International airport.
